Canopius has hired Richard Parker as joint head of space and Kelly Bromley as underwriting assistant in appointments that are effective as of 1 October.

Parker will work alongside existing co-head of space Chris Gibbs. The carrier said the two US hires will make its space insurance team one of the largest in the market.
