Inigo’s Watson sets out stall for Names backing ahead of 2022 growth plans

CEO of start-up insurer Inigo Richard Watson used a speech at the Association of Lloyd’s Members (ALM) autumn conference to make his pitch for Names backing as the business seeks “significant growth” for 2022.

The former Hiscox CUO told delegates yesterday that Inigo, which launched in January this year with private equity and pension fund capital only, was on track to write $427mn in gross premium this year.
