Amwins Global Risks, the international arm of broker Amwins, has launched an underwriting portfolio management unit, headed up by John Andrews and Tom Wallace.

The broker said the new team will focus on aggregating and creating capacity across the business.

Andrews joins Amwins after previously holding roles at Dale Underwriting, Arch Insurance Europe, Pioneer and Axis.
