BMS sets up BMS Re Brazil with ex-Guy Carp duo

Reinsurance broker BMS Re has announced the establishment of BMS Brasil Corretora de Resseguros (BMS Re Brazil), headquartered in Sao Paulo, which will focus on facultative and treaty reinsurance services.

The operation will be led by José Leão as CEO and Judi Newsam, president, reporting to Aidan Pope, CEO and executive chairman of BMS in Latin America and the Caribbean, in Miami.
