Scor appoints Poxon as marine and energy re CUO

Scor has hired former Sompo International executive Adrian Poxon as CUO for global lines marine and energy within its P&C reinsurance division, as the carrier looks to “significantly upscale” various books in this unit.

His remit will include upstream and downstream energy, aviation and space and engineering.

Poxon worked as head of global specialty reinsurance at Sompo International, having joined the company in 2014 in a role overseeing global marine and energy reinsurance.
