HDI Global names Sapia director of liability underwriting

HDI Global has appointed industry veteran David Sapia to the newly created role of director of liability underwriting, in a key move to help the carrier develop its casualty proposition.

Sapia will be responsible for growth and overall strategic direction of HDI’s US casualty business.

He joined HDI in June from Axis US Insurance, where he was vice president, excess casualty underwriter, for the west region.
