UK claims bill for Covid-19 BI tops £1bn: FCA

UK insurers have now paid out more than £1bn ($1.4bn) in BI claims stemming from the Covid-19 pandemic, according to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

In the latest set of data released by the regulator, it was disclosed that £329mn of interim payments had been made, as well as £696mn total payments.
