Apollo Syndicate Management has appointed Paul Sandi from Canopius to head the build-up of a casualty treaty team with Syndicate 1969, subject to Lloyd’s approval.

A North American casualty treaty underwriter from the same company, Anthony Thurman, will also be joining the team “shortly”.
