Canopius has appointed Gavin Phillips as group CFO as incumbent CFO Nigel Meyer plans to step back from his role in March 2022.

Phillips joins Canopius from PwC, where he has worked since 1993.

He has since held several senior roles at the firm, most recently serving as regional financial services leader.
