There are more than 3,000 offshore energy assets in the current trajectory of Tropical Storm Ida as it gains strength and approaches the US Gulf Coast, according to Skytek.

Tropical Storm Ida is expected to be at or near major hurricane strength when it approaches the US coastline, according to the public advisory issued by the National Hurricane Center (NHC) at 05:00 EDT.
