Storm Grace has strengthened into a hurricane 65 miles west of Grand Cayman, with a hurricane warning in place for the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico from Cancun to Punta Herrero, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said in a public advisory at 11:00 EDT.

The update said it was blowing maximum sustained winds of 75 mph, up from 65 mph in the advisory at 08:00 EDT, with hurricane force winds extending up to 25 miles outward from the centre and tropical storm force...
