Africa Specialty Risks (ASR) has appointed Krishna Bheenick as managing director in Mauritius and launched a recruitment drive across several departments.

Bheenick has experience in the insurance and financial services sectors in Mauritius and internationally, having held senior positions at Swan General, Mauritius Commercial Bank, XL Catlin Insurance (UK), Munich Mauritius Reinsurance Company and Munich Re of Africa, among others.
