Stephenson appointed Swiss Re casualty head as Richards becomes UK & Ireland CEO

Swiss Re has promoted current global head of casualty Jason Richards as CEO and president of UK and Ireland, as CNA’s Julie Stephenson is hired into his former role.

The appointments are effective as of 1 January 2022.

Richards joined Swiss Re in 2006 as part of the carrier’s acquisition of GE Insurance Solutions and became head of P&C business management in 2013.
