Willis Towers Watson has appointed the current head of its investment, risk and reinsurance (IRR) segment Carl Hess as its new president and next CEO.

Hess will succeed long-serving CEO John Haley, who earlier this month confirmed he would stand down from his role on 1 January 2022.
