Fidelis hires sustainability head, looks to exercise ‘soft power’ on ESG issues

Fidelis has appointed Victor Riega as its first head of sustainability as it looks to use its “soft power” with clients to drive positive change on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues.

Riega was previously senior sustainability manager at Standard Chartered and prior to that led Aviva’s approach to human rights and its corporate responsibility governance framework.
