Pricing increases in commercial lines business are expected to be “pretty gentle” in the second half after being stronger than expected at the beginning of the year, according to Zurich CFO George Quinn.

The executive said he was “surprised” at the strength of pricing in H1 and strong rates would continue to benefit earnings.
