Howden Group has appointed Will Bloomer to a newly created role of chief corporate and legal affairs officer, as the broker looks to build its international legal capabilities.

In his expanded role, Bloomer’s main focus will be on complex corporate initiatives and development.

Bloomer has held the role of group general counsel since 2013, having joined Howden in March 2012 as corporate and legal director.
