Willis share price jumps 4% as CEO Haley confirms shake-up plans

Willis Towers Watson’s share price jumped by over 4% after its CEO John Haley confirmed he will retire at the end of this year and that its reinsurance unit is under review, as the business posted improved organic growth.

The broker’s share price had tumbled 9.5% the day after Aon and Willis announced they had terminated their merger, and the value remains 6% below close price on Friday 23 July before the news emerged.
