Generali P&C profits down 4% to EUR1.26bn as cat claims bite

Generali’s P&C division registered a 3.6% fall in operating profits in the first half of 2021 to EUR1.26bn ($1.5bn) as the carrier was impacted by catastrophes, while group operating profits rose more than 10% to EUR3bn.
