CNA adds quota share treaty to strengthen growing property protection

CNA Financial has added a quota share treaty to its property protection program as CEO Dino Robusto said there was an opportunity for it to grow its portfolio with “very favourable” terms and conditions.

He made the statement on CNA’s Q2 earnings call, in which he also said net written premium growth for P&C was down 1% for the period, due to the new treaty lowering net premiums by $122mn.
