Mapfre H1 premiums up 6.2% as reinsurance swells

Mapfre’s gross written premiums (GWP) increased by 6.2% overall during the first half of the year, the company revealed in an earnings preview.

Ahead of the Spanish carrier’s Q2 results announcement on 26 July, Mapfre revealed that its H1 GWP hit EUR11.7bn
