‘Rapid’ slowdown in downstream pricing and easing off in upstream: Marsh

Downstream energy price rises continued their “rapid downward trend” in Q2 whilst upstream energy price rises were in the low single digits, with some reductions available, according to Marsh’s latest energy report.

The report said there had been a “significant shift” in downstream rating momentum, with prices increasing by an average of 10% in the quarter, down from 15%-20% at the beginning of the period, and 30% last year.
