Axa XL Insurance has appointed Marine Ress as CUO for casualty, Asia Pacific (APAC) and Europe, at a time where the insurer said the casualty market is seeing “new risks” emerging.

With oversight across Axa XL’s casualty portfolio, Ress will now lead the underwriting strategy for general liability, motor and environmental insurance in Europe and the APAC region.
