Aon, Willis call Feb 2022 antitrust trial ‘untenable’

OLD DONT USE OLD

The possibility that the $30bn merger of Aon and Willis Towers Watson might fail due to "unnecessary delays" by the Department of Justice (DoJ) "should be unacceptable to all", Aon’s legal team has argued.

In a strongly worded motion put before US District Court Judge Reggie Walton, Aon’s legal team said it was concerned that the proposed timetable could kill off the deal before the trial begins.
