Accenture fuels payments start-up’s expansion with global insurers

Technology and consultancy firm Accenture has invested in Imburse, the payments platform that helps insurers access the global payments eco-system, in the latest sign of investor appetite in technology start-ups servicing carriers.

Founded in 2018, Zurich-based Imburse works with global insurers including Generali to connect legacy systems to the international payments system through a simplified, single connection using APIs.
