Arthur J Gallagher’s chief executive called news of the US Department of Justice’s  (DoJ) efforts to block the merger between Aon and Willis Towers Watson a “setback” for his company’s bid to acquire divested assets from the deal, but said on Thursday that AJG was committed to seeing the deal through.
