An artificial intelligence (AI) technology company that helps carriers appraise car and property damage has secured a $60mn Series D funding round, valuing the company at $1bn.

Tractable – which lets users submit photos of damaged cars and property to obtain immediate appraisals and expedite claims decisions – secured the capital in a round led by existing investors Insight Partners and Georgian.
