RSA confirms £50mn cost of BI test-case claims

RSA Insurance has paid out £50mn ($70mn) in BI claims related to the test case spearheaded by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), amid a total payout of £80mn for UK Covid-19 claims to date.

The insurer, according to its results update in February, had provided for more than £250mn for all types of Covid-19 claims in the UK by that time.
