GC accuses Howden of ‘modus operandi’ of unlawful recruitment

Guy Carpenter has accused Howden of employing a “modus operandi” of unlawful recruitment in order to grow its reinsurance operations in the ongoing legal dispute over the defection of a Bradley Maltese-led team to the broker.

Guy Carpenter is seeking remedies after a 31-strong team resigned to join the rival broker earlier this year, which it alleges was an unlawful, secretly orchestrated move, involving the misuse of confidential client information.
