BoE launches ‘fiendishly complicated’ climate stress test

The Bank of England (BoE) has launched its climate-change-related stress test for the largest UK insurers and banks, with results promised next May.

The so-called climate biennial exploratory scenario involves carriers including the UK operations of AIG, Allianz and Axa, as well as the Society of Lloyd’s.
