Bermuda-based Aspen Insurance Holdings has appointed Andrew Rippert to the newly created role of executive vice president and head of mortgage.

He will report to Christian Dunleavy, Aspen Reinsurance’s chief underwriting officer, and serve as a member of the reinsurance executive committee.
