Liberty Specialty Markets, the commercial, specialty and reinsurance business of Liberty Mutual, has appointed Ulf Knöpnadel as senior underwriter in its Cologne-based PI team.

Knöpnadel’s remit will include strengthening Liberty’s PI offering in the German market.

He joins from AIG, where he was a senior underwriter for PI risks.
