Venture capitalists back InsurTech Urban Jungle with £8m

UK InsurTech Urban Jungle has completed an £8mn ($11.3mn) funding round, its largest capital raise so far, while former Prudential CEO Rob Devey has become chairman.

The London-based, specialist home insurance provider for renters secured £2mn from InsurTech investor Mundi Ventures and £500,000 from existing investor Eka Ventures, while private backers provided the rest.
