Legacy start-up Marco Capital has secured Maltese regulatory approval for a local subsidiary, Marco Insurance PCC, which will serve as its main EU entity.

The new Maltese operation has been established as a protected cell company, with a licence for all 18 non-life insurance and reinsurance classes.
