CIAM to oppose re-election of Scor chairman Kessler and two others

Activist investor CIAM has said it will vote down a proposal to re-elect Denis Kessler as Scor chairman at an AGM at the end of the month, as it criticised the reinsurer’s recent succession-planning overhaul.

The investor, which holds less than 1% of Scor, fired its latest salvo just over two weeks after the French carrier reversed a plan for Kessler to be replaced as CEO by Benoît Ribadeau-Dumas next year.
