Aviva has reported 17% growth in its global corporate specialty lines for Q1 compared with the same period last year, as the carrier recorded continued rate momentum and strong retention.

A trading update published today also showed the insurer’s SME sales grew by 10% as volumes in mid-market and digital increased.
