R&Q assumes £75mn QBE liability risks from Armour

Randall & Quilter (R&Q) has completed a deal to take over more than £75mn ($106.1mn) of reserves relating to a book of QBE employers’ liability and public liability risks from legacy competitor Armour Risk Management.

Armour’s ILS joint venture with Credit Suisse, ILS P&C Re, had previously covered the policies, with four loss portfolio transfer (LPT) agreements now transferred to R&Q.
