Ascot Group has named Matthew Lillegard to its newly created post of group chief actuary on Wednesday, the latest in a flurry of hires.

Lillegard will work to create a cohesive framework across its underwriting, risk, enterprise risk management, IT and data strategy teams, the company said in its announcement.
