Chaucer has appointed marine, energy and aviation head Kelan Hunt as deputy active underwriter, with a view to his assuming the position of active underwriter in 2022 following the retirement of Ed Lines.

Lines will retire at the end of this year after more than 25 years at Chaucer, where he was responsible for the development of the property division before becoming active underwriter in 2017.
