The combination of the hardening market and the pandemic has brought Randall & Quilter’s (R&Q’s) business proposition into the mainstream, as carriers look for partners to optimise their capital position, according to executive chairman William Spiegel.

Spiegel said in an interview with this publication that the legacy market used to “fight over the carcass of a dead company”, but is now an established partner as carriers increasingly recognise that “legacy is useful”.
