Taiwanese regulator approves Aon-Willis merger

Taiwan’s Fair Trade Commission (FTC) has given Aon’s merger with Willis Towers Watson its stamp of approval in another step towards completing the combination.

The FTC said on 19 May that after the combination, there will still be enough competitors in (re)insurance broking to ensure a healthy marketplace.
