London super-MGA CFC’s planned Lloyd’s syndicate will operate a “futuristic” model with no full-time staff and an active underwriter seconded to it once a year, CEO David Walsh has said.

The executive told a virtual CFC summit that Syndicate 1988 will not have a box at Lloyd’s and will sit alongside existing capacity providers to provide backing to the business.
