Axa Asian operation struck by ransomware attack

Axa has announced that one of its Asian divisions has been subject to a ransomware attack, with hacker group Avaddon claiming responsibility.

In a statement on Sunday evening, Axa confirmed that an Asian unit of international division Axa Partners had been targeted, affecting operations in Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong and the Philippines.
