M&A insurance is set to experience a “record year” in 2021 following a rebound in deal flow after the pandemic caused a temporary slowdown in transactions at the beginning of 2020, according to broker BMS.

In its inaugural report on the sector, BMS noted that, in 2020, the market swung back from “near paralysis engendered by the pandemic” to one of the busiest quarters on record in Q4.
