Argo “aggressively” reduced the size of its US property and contract binding books during Q1, as it forges ahead with previously announced remediation plans, according to Kevin Rehnberg.

Speaking on the carrier’s first quarter earnings call, the CEO said Argo was disappointed with the level of catastrophe losses it absorbed during the period, but that it expected less volatility going forward.
