Munich Re executive Alexander Lay has been appointed as Munich Re Digital Partners (MRDP) managing director for the UK and Europe, as co-founder and Europe CEO Mark Dennis prepares to depart.
Dennis co-founded the reinsurer’s InsurTech unit in 2016 along with Andrew Rear, who left the business earlier this year to take up a role at UK insurance broker Hubb.
