The Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) has appointed Axa XL’s Arabella Ramage legal director, as Kees van der Klugt prepares to retire after more than a decade in the role.

Ramage has worked at Axa XL since 2000 and is general counsel for international insurance and reinsurance, where she oversees legal support for insurance and reinsurance business across the carrier’s international platforms and Lloyd’s syndicates.
