Marsh McLennan posts 6% Q1 organic growth as Marsh surges

Marsh McLennan has posted adjusted operating income of $1.4bn in Q1, up 20% year on year, as organic growth hit 6% driven by a surge in revenues at Marsh in the US and Guy Carpenter.

Earnings per share: The broking business posted EPS of $1.99, $0.29 ahead of a consensus compiled by Nasdaq and up 21.3%
