Insurance will be one of the industries targeted by special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) Pegasus Europe after a planned EUR500mn ($605mn) IPO in Amsterdam later this month.

The company will focus on European financial services opportunities following its fundraise on the Euronext Amsterdam, targeting companies with unique digital models or those that are benefiting from economic tailwinds.
