FCA appoints first ESG chief to lead sustainability agenda

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has named its first director of environmental, social and governance (ESG) to spearhead the regulator’s approach to sustainable finance.

Sacha Sadan, former director of investment stewardship at Legal and General Investment Management, takes up the role, after a career at the life and pensions group spanning over 25 years.
